Safety and quality

The production site was upgraded in accordance with the modern requirements for dairy enterprises in 2012. A new milk processing workshop with an area of over 1 thousand square meters was launched. We carried out the gasification of production.

The production site is equipped with the state-of-the-art processing equipment and a quality laboratory.

To produce cheese and butter, we use classic recipes and guarantee a high quality standard of our products.

We follow the high production hygiene requirements at the plant. Our manufacturing processes are certified in accordance with ISO standards and HACCP principles, which allows us to provide our customers with high-quality and safe products.

The production workshop has its own laboratory. Each batch of incoming milk is tested for quality. There is a strict control of raw materials and finished products at the enterprise.

The Swiss company “SGS” conducted a number of certification audits at the enterprise in 2019. SGS Group is a global leader in the field of independent expert examination, inspection, testing and certification. The food safety management system of Rikon, LLC is recognized as compliant with the requirements of ISO 22000:2005, HACCP Codex Alimentarius and GMP Codex Alimentarius. The scope of certification includes the activities for the production of soft and semi-hard cheeses. The certificates were issued in February 2020.
